What is light? For one thing, it’s multi-dimensional. It has significance to us at many levels and in many contexts.
1) Light is a medium for experience. Everything we see with our eyes comes to us via light. And, as a result, we think about the things that we see, and categorize them, and respond to them based upon the categories we attribute to them. As you may note by this definition, coupled with your life experience, these categories can be highly individual, and can be the basis of societies, large and small. Our choices every moment are based upon these categories.
2) Light is a metaphor for cognizing, understanding, and “seeing”. “I see!” And along with understanding, comes an ability to act in harmony with what is, and enhance one’s experience and the experience of others. “Guru” is literally translated as “dispeller of darkness”, hence “Teacher”.
3) Most people today think of light as something that illuminates physical objects. There is another aspect of light, in non-physical dimensions, where it is used as a creative tool, fashioning things and experiences for the enhancement of All That Is.
