Conscious Consciousness

This song was recorded in 1982 about the same time as my Dreams That Things Are Made Of album. The song is now on my Love Seeds album. It’s “claim to fame” is that I got it played on the Dr. Dimento Show, due to it’s happy, quirky sounds and mysterious lyrics. The lyrics were inspired by Hindu scriptures, holy men, and especially study with Gurudeva Sivaya Subramuniyaswami. Tracks were recorded originally at High Tech Recorders in Portland, engineered by Jack Barr on a Sony 24-Track with VCA automation. Years later tracks were transferred to ADAT and later digitally imported into Pro Tools.
